Jay ForemanPresident/CEOJay has spent his entire 25 year career in the children's entertainment and consumer products business, specializing in the Theme Park & Amusement Industry, the Licensing Business and Toy Industry. Most recently, he was a Founder and President of Play Along, a manufacturing and distribution company that became an industry leader in the plush and doll categories. Prior to Play Along, Jay was a founding partner of Play By Play and worked as a licensing agent at Hamilton Projects. Jay got his start in the mid-80's with Fable Toys in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout his career, Jay has worked with every major mass merchant in North America and many around the world, as well as every major licensor and brand owner including Disney, Coca-Cola, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Harley-Davidson, among many others. In addition, Jay has been a pioneer in the pop music merchandise and retro brands categories with multi-million dollar product applications for The Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Hannah Montana, as well as Care Bears, Cabbage Patch Kids and Camp Beverly Hills. He currently sits on the board of directors of the Toy Industry Association (TIA) and is a former board member of Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA). He is a board member for the Florence Fuller Children's Developmental Centers and sits on the board of advisors for the Pine Crest School in Boca Raton, Florida. As The Bridge's President and CEO, Jay will oversee all aspects of the business. Irene LiManaging Director/COO of Hong Kong/China OperationsIrene has spent the better part of her entire 30 year career in the children's entertainment and toy industry. She joined Play Along in early 2000 as the Managing Director of its Hong Kong office and was instrumental in Play Along's rapid growth during her six years with the company, managing a staff of over 120 people in Hong Kong and China. Prior to Play Along, Irene spent seven years with Playmates as their Executive Director and SVP, Sales and Operations during the company's heyday with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brand. She was responsible for the growth of their international sales, the solid foundation of their operations system, as well as the sound and reliable vendor base. In the early 90's, Irene worked for Swire MacLaine as the buying, sourcing and quality control agent for key US retailers, including Wal-Mart, in all hard goods categories, and in the 80's, she spearheaded the international sales department of LJN. Irene had six years of banking and financial experience with a Hong Kong local bank and the Chase Manhattan Bank prior to joining the toy industry. Irene has a MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Social Science in Counseling from the University of South Australia. In her role at The Bridge, Irene will be responsible for all aspects of the Hong Kong operations. Jeff LebronGeneral Manager of Finance and AdministrationJeff joins The Bridge with over fifteen years of specialized experience in Accounting, Finance, IT and Operations for the consumer products business. Most recently, Jeff spent nine years with Play Along, where he served as the Vice President of Finance & Operations and worked with major mass retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R Us, as well as licensors such as Disney, Sony and Nickelodeon. In the late 90's, Jeff was the Financial/Business Analyst for Empire Industries, Inc., where he worked with senior management and attempted to turnaround the struggling company. In his role as GM of Finance and Administration for The Bridge, Jeff will manage the company's accounting and operations. George VorkasGeneral Manager of New Business DevelopmentGeorge joins The Bridge from Li & Fung, where he spent over seven years managing supply chain projects. During his twenty year career, George has handled many aspects of the consumer goods business, from design to sales, and his creativity and passion are well regarded throughout the industry. While at Li & Fung, he served as head of Toy Island and managed the Disney direct initiatives. Prior to Li & Fung, he was head of Monogram International, a leading producer and marketer of impulse-driven, high quality gifts and licensed products. George also served as a senior executive at Toy Biz, and before that, as Director of Research & Development of Toymax. In his role with The Bridge, George will develop new business opportunities and act as the direct liaison with the company's major clients.
